I wrote for Ticketmaster for 2 years (2022-2024). My role was heavily copy-based: writing Tweets, scripts and text-only posts. Ticketmaster is a challenging client because they are vehemently disliked by the public. To become the voice of Ticketmaster was a delicate practice confined by many rules. However, we found what worked and thrived in that space.

My team was tasked with creating content that puts the fans first. We created content targeting the unique fan experience from festivals and concerts to musicals and sports. We created content that made fans feel seen, heard and validated. We were successful in slowly changing public sentiment…for example: instead of “We hate Ticketmaster” comments on every post, we started receiving positive engagement, increased shares and saves. This client was a challenge, but an extremely rewarding one.
